Urban Work Summit Montréal | June 2024

Overview

What?

A summit on the future of work in Canadian cities, designed and delivered by young workers, powered by the 2023 Urban Work Index (UWI) and DEVlab research.

Where?

Carrefour Jeunesse-emploi Montréal 460 Sainte-Catherine West, Suite 602, Montréal | Tiohtià:ke (QC), H3B 1A7

When?

Tuesday June 11th, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (ET)

Who?

25-30 youth delegates residing in the city of Montreal and its surroundings.

Why?

Youth are the center of work and a driving force within the work ecosystem of Canada. Yet, they’re rarely given the keys to unlock and drive the future of work, especially in cities. This summit brings together youth and other local actors in cities to navigate the future of work and the work ecosystem in a post-pandemic environment and create a localized and youth-centered action plan.
