Carrefour Jeunesse-emploi Montréal 460 Sainte-Catherine West, Suite 602, Montréal | Tiohtià:ke (QC), H3B 1A7

Tuesday June 11th, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (ET) (registration opens at 9:30 AM).

25-30 youth delegates residing in the city of Montreal and its surroundings.

Youth are the center of work and a driving force within the work ecosystem of Canada. Yet, they’re rarely given the keys to unlock and drive the future of work, especially in cities. This summit brings together youth and other local actors in cities to navigate the future of work and the work ecosystem in a post-pandemic environment and create a localized and youth-centered action plan.

The Delegates

The delegates will be 25-30 young leaders and innovators representing various and multiple sectors and industries, aged between 16 and 29 years old, and of different identities and backgrounds.

Montréal Summit Agenda

  • Information will be provided around the summit, and the key topics that delegates will be exploring.
  • Delegates will be engaged in a group discussion around possible challenges within those topic areas.
  • Delegates will have the opportunity to explore on their own the challenges and opportunities through search tools.

SUMMIT DAY: TUESDAY JUNE 11TH from 10:00 AM till 4:00 PM

  • We will be reviewing the existing data and knowledge to explore what the delegates believe to be the challenges, stresses, and shocks in core areas of interest.
  • We will host a conversation with expert “provocateurs” to engage with the youth and inform their ideation process.
  • In a creative and interactive way, we will map out several possible scenarios for the future work in cities.
